What I do

I create

Mostly paintings, mostly large. I create from both from what inspires me personally and I give a visual voice to the inspiration of others. What I create ranges from murals on walls to paint on canvas, and can be created in any number of painting styles and color palettes.

“Not only is Gabrielle a pleasure to work with, she gets it done.”

Who I work with

Professionals.

And experienced homeowners. More precisely, I work with individuals who know what they want, and who appreciate working with an artist who has the skills and the temperament to translate their ideas into art, and who has 30 years’ experience completing projects within a specific time frame and within budget.

How I work

I listen…

Most of the time, the art on the walls is an integral part of the designer’s vision. The art is a vital element that visually supports the myriad of aesthetic decisions that create a curated space. To that end, often a designer has a particular size, style, color scheme and overall feel they are looking for. I thrive within the confines of the client's intentions around color, size and subject matter.

Then I create…

We begin by having a conversation where I ask about the logistical details such as size, color scheme, fabric samples and overall style and feel of the space. Timelines and general budget are also discussed. Then, I take all that info and distill it into one or two rough sketch options for client approval. Once the client approves one of the options, I can provide a specific price. Usually there is no cost for my time to this stage, although there may be exceptions based on the scale of the project.
